Isn't West Texas beautiful?
Garrett and I had a nice time at our first stop along our journey North. There was plenty of space and the folks at the fairgrounds were real nice.
We both got some rest, but I am not so sure that the big boys slept all that well. They were in rodeo pens at the Coliseum in Ft. Stockton and there were some great flood lights for security. :)
We were up and at 'em early this morning, at least I was. :-) I have been wide awake at 4am the past several mornings and Garrett is wondering what that will mean when we are back at PST.
We hit the road at 6am and are about 100 miles South of El Paso. We are stopping in Deming, NM for the night at the Diamond Arrow Ranch. We should get in mid afternoon and we are planning to take the boys out for a little ride.
We generally get them out about every 3-4 hrs. for a walk and water break. They appreciate the stretch and so do we. :-)
It was a little chilly in the back of the truck this morning so Roy is sporting one of Garrett's cozy sweatshirts. :-) He is so EXCITED!
I will check in again tomorrow morning and let you know of our next destination. :-) Love, Love, Love....HB&GG

Hi again- We were glad to hear that you are not spending the night (last or tonight) in El Paso. They have a big contingent of police in that Mexican border town (can't think of the name) for all the crime and drug wars there. I know, I am just a silly Grandma that worries too much, huh?
Nice to see you are on your way again this AM and headed for NM. I have "carred" it a couple of times across there. A lot of road with not much to look at except sage brush and later cactus.
Later, Love, Grandma and Grandpa Bill
