Yes Terry, I am talking about an Oregonian visit from you! It was so great to see you! Garrett and I both thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. Enjoy the great photos and we were thrilled to show a family member our first stop on the road. :-)
We also want to give everyone an update on our plans or lack there of at this point. We are patiently waiting for the stars to line up and for the right opportunity to line up for us.
We have sent out a few more applications and inquiries in the past week and we are still interested in the Sun Ranch Lodge in MT. There is also a ranch job in AZ that Garrett just responded to today. It is on a 50,000 acre ranch and it entails taking care of longhorn cattle and other caretaker duties.
One of the most interesting things that was brought to our attention lately was a position that Karl, the director here at the ranch, suggested. He will soon be traveling full-time this summer with 2 clinicians, Dennis and Deborah Reis. They are going to be doing 4 different 2-3 month nationwide tours and Karl recommended that we apply for a few open positions. We are checking it out and have emailed our information to them. We really would be living the Gypsy life then. :-) SUPER FUN!
In the meantime, we are enjoying the beautiful weather here and our last few weeks in Central Texas. We are heading to Ari's Sunday night after I get off work to watch the Amazing Race for the first time. We found out that they extended the deadline for Season 15 until Feb., 24th. I am sure that we will here something shortly there after. Everyone keep your fingers crossed!
Well, it is time to turn in. I am so excited about our next employment venture. We know that it will be better than we could ever expect. We will let you know as soon as we find out. Lots of love to all of you and keep on keepin on.... XOXOX~HB&GG
